Dehydrated beetroot is made by removing most of the moisture from sliced or diced beets through a dehydration process. This results in a lightweight, long-lasting product that can be stored easily.
Dehydrated beetroot can be rehydrated by soaking it in water for several hours or overnight. Once rehydrated, it can be used in a variety of recipes, such as salads, soups, stews, and smoothies.
Dehydrated beetroot has a longer shelf life than fresh beets, meaning that it can be stored for much longer periods of time without spoiling. This makes it an ideal ingredient for camping trips or for emergency food storage. Dehydrated beetroot is also lightweight and takes up less space than fresh beets, making it easier to transport and store.
Beets are pulverised to make Parda Food powder and flakes. Dried beets that have been ground into powder are called beetroot. The sweetener and colouring of our beet powder is a herbaceous purple powder. Its mildly sweet and earthy flavour won't overpower a dish's flavour. Beets stretched their roots from the Food and Beverage to the Pharmaceutical industries. Beet powder is a natural source of sugar.
Process of Dehydration :
Deep pink beetroot is purchased by Parda Food directly from the farm. To remove
contaminants, the beets are first sorted, cleaned, and washed. The nice beets are then
sliced into pieces after having their tough skin peeled. The diced beets are then placed in
a dehydrator to completely eliminate the moisture from the food. After drying, the
dehydrated beetroot flakes will be produced, which can then be ground into a powder or
reshaped to produce other products while maintaining the original beet flavour. The product
made from dehydrated beetroot will next be gathered and bulk-packed after cooling.
Dehydrated Beetroot Uses :
Beet powder provides a cooking palette of strong reds and pinks. Beets are preserved in
their concentrated condition when made into a powder. In spite of being extremely
convenient, beet powder has fewer calories and carbohydrates than beets in any other form.
The Parda Food powder's fluidity makes it simple to use when cooking.
